Doctors’ & Specialist Rooms
Referral-friendly websites for GPs, specialists and multi-practitioner rooms in Johannesburg
Built for Johannesburg Rooms
A specialist practice website has two audiences and they want completely different things. A patient wants to know where you are, what you treat, whether you take their medical aid and how quickly they can be seen. A referring GP wants your scope, your sub-specialities, your rooms address and a phone number that reaches your secretary. Most practice websites are built for neither.
Keeden Marketing builds websites for general practitioners, specialists and multi-practitioner rooms across Johannesburg — sites that serve the referring doctor as deliberately as they serve the patient.
Rooms We Serve Across Johannesburg
We work with practices across Edenvale, Bedfordview, Sandton, Linksfield, Kempton Park, Greenstone, Modderfontein, Linbro Park, Germiston, Morningside, Sunninghill and Bryanston. Fallon meets you at your rooms, which for a specialist practice usually means a short meeting between lists or after hours. We work around your diary, not the other way round.
Your rooms location is one of the strongest signals on the whole site. Suburb, medical centre or building name, floor, parking and after-hours access all belong on the contact page and in your local search listings — patients and referrers both search that way.
The Pages a Referring Doctor Actually Looks For
Referrers are not browsing. They want your scope of practice, your sub-speciality interests, your rooms address, your practice number, your secretary’s direct line and how to send a referral letter. That should be one page, reachable in one click, printable, and it should not be buried behind a marketing homepage. We build it as a deliberate referrer page — the single highest-value page on most specialist sites and the one almost nobody has.
Multi-Practitioner Rooms: One Site or a Page Each
Rooms with several practitioners have a choice to make. A single practice identity with a profile page per practitioner works well where the practitioners share a speciality and a brand. Where they are independent practitioners simply sharing premises, separate identities under a shared contact page usually serves everyone better. We will work through which structure fits your arrangement before we design anything — getting this wrong is expensive to unwind later.
Medical Aid, Billing and Procedure Information
Billing questions consume an enormous amount of front-desk time. A clear page covering which schemes you deal with, whether you charge scheme rates or above, how co-payments work, what happens with hospital procedures and what a patient should bring to a first appointment will reduce calls measurably. It also sets expectations before the patient arrives rather than at reception.
Patient Enquiries and POPIA
A practice website should not be collecting clinical information through a contact form. We build short enquiry forms that capture a name, a contact number and the reason for the appointment in general terms, with clear wording that the form is not for medical detail and not for emergencies. Submissions go to your practice securely rather than into a general inbox.
Multi-practitioner rooms often need pages for several disciplines at once — physiotherapy, dietetics, psychology and chiropractic — under one practice identity. Existing sites are usually better served by a redesign than a rebuild from scratch. See the prices, or book a free consultation at your rooms.
Specialist Practice Websites — Common Questions
What is a referrer page and why do we need one?
It is a single page built for referring doctors rather than patients: your scope, sub-speciality interests, rooms address, practice number, secretary’s direct line and how to send a referral. Most specialist sites do not have one, and it is usually the page that generates the most business.
We have four practitioners sharing rooms. One site or four?
It depends on whether you are a practice or a shared premises. Shared speciality and shared brand points to one site with practitioner profiles. Genuinely independent practitioners are usually better served by separate identities and a shared contact page. We will work it through with you first.
Can you keep our existing Google rankings if we rebuild?
Yes, provided we plan the migration. We map every existing page to its replacement with permanent redirects and check Search Console before and after. Rebuilds lose rankings when nobody does that mapping.
Do you publish consultation fees?
That is your call. We usually recommend explaining your billing structure and medical aid position without a full price list — it answers the question patients are calling to ask without turning your practice into a price comparison.
Which areas do you cover for in-person meetings?
Edenvale, Bedfordview, Sandton, Linksfield, Kempton Park, Greenstone, Modderfontein, Germiston, Morningside, Sunninghill and Bryanston, and surrounding Johannesburg East and Sandton suburbs.
Where to Start
We will come to your rooms between lists or after hours, look at what you have, and send a fixed written quote. The first consultation is free across Johannesburg East and Sandton.
