Healthcare Practice Branding

Brand identity and websites for Johannesburg health practices — designed in person

A Johannesburg Design Studio That Comes to Your Rooms

Keeden Marketing builds brand identities and websites for healthcare and wellness practices across Johannesburg. Not from a call centre and not over email — Fallon Luksich meets you at your rooms, walks the space, sees your signage and your patient forms, and then designs around what is actually there.

We work with physiotherapists, biokineticists, chiropractors, dietitians, psychologists, psychiatrists, general practitioners and specialist rooms. The work ranges from a single logo and letterhead through to a full practice identity and a new website.

Where We Work

Keeden Marketing is based in the Edenvale and Bedfordview area and serves practices across Edenvale, Bedfordview, Sandton, Linksfield, Kempton Park, Greenstone, Modderfontein, Linbro Park, Germiston, Morningside, Sunninghill and Bryanston. We are a local studio by choice. Being twenty minutes from your rooms means we can sit down together, work through the detail in one meeting, and get on with it.

If your practice sits outside our travel area we are happy to work with you remotely, but the in-person consultation is what most practices tell us made the difference.

Why a Practice Brand Is Not the Same as a Business Brand

A retailer wants attention. A practice wants trust. Those two goals pull design in opposite directions. Loud colour, hard selling and superlatives make a practice look less credible, not more — and they can create problems with your professional council. Practice branding is a quieter discipline: clear typography, restrained colour, careful photography, and information laid out so a nervous patient or a referring GP can find what they need in seconds.

What a Practice Identity Includes

A logo on its own is not an identity. A working practice identity covers the logo and its variations, a defined colour and type system, rooms and door signage, referral letterhead and business cards, patient intake and consent forms, appointment cards, invoice and statement templates, and the design rules that keep your website consistent with all of it. Everything a patient touches should look like it came from the same practice.

Marketing That Respects the Advertising Rules

Healthcare practitioners in South Africa may advertise, provided the advertising is truthful and accurate. What is not permitted is canvassing or touting — drawing attention to your supposedly superior knowledge or quality of service, or publishing patient reviews that declare you the best in your field. A great deal of agency-built practice marketing crosses that line without the practitioner realising it. We write copy that sells your practice on facts, qualifications, scope and access rather than on superlatives. We are designers rather than compliance advisors, so we always recommend you run final wording past your own professional body — but you will not be starting from a page full of claims you have to delete.

Practices We Work With

Every practice type has its own requirements, so we have written a page for each one: physiotherapy and biokinetics, dietitians and nutritionists, psychology and psychiatry, chiropractic and osteopathy, and doctors’ and specialist rooms. If you would rather start with a rebuild of an existing site, or with getting your practice found in AI search results, we have pages for those too.

Practice Branding in Johannesburg — Common Questions

Do you travel to our rooms?

Yes. In-person consultations across Edenvale, Bedfordview, Sandton, Linksfield, Kempton Park, Greenstone, Modderfontein, Germiston, Morningside, Sunninghill and Bryanston are included at no extra charge. That first meeting is usually the most productive hour of the whole project.

We already have a logo. Can you work with it?

Often, yes. Plenty of practices have a logo that works fine but no system around it — no consistent colour, no signage, forms that look like they came from three different practices. We can build the identity system around an existing mark, or redraw it if it is genuinely holding you back. We will tell you honestly which one applies.

How long does a practice identity take?

A logo and core identity is typically two to three weeks from the first consultation. A full identity with print collateral and a website runs four to eight weeks depending on how quickly we get content and approvals from your side.

Will our website comply with the rules our council sets?

We write practice copy that avoids canvassing and touting language and we do not build patient review sections that make comparative claims. We recommend you have final wording checked by your professional body or your practice’s legal advisor, since the rules differ between professions and are updated from time to time.

Can you handle POPIA on our patient forms and enquiry forms?

We build enquiry forms that collect the minimum you actually need, with clear consent wording and a privacy notice. We are not attorneys, so anything contractual should be reviewed by yours — but you will not end up with an open contact form quietly collecting clinical information.

Where to Start

Most practices start with the in-person consultation, because an hour at your rooms tells us more than a month of emails. We look at what you already have, tell you honestly which parts are worth keeping, and send a fixed written quote for the rest. There is no charge for that first meeting anywhere in our Johannesburg service area, and our branding and website prices are published.

In conclusion

Practice branding, done locally. Brand identity, print collateral and websites for healthcare and wellness practices across Johannesburg East and Sandton — designed in person, written to respect the advertising rules your profession works under.
